Arhi OS:Sometimes

'Did you want to become a racer when you were small?' She panicked.
'Why?' He said annoyingly.
'No, I mean the way you are driving makes me think so', she uttered.
'Keep your mouth shut, for you I got so late.'
'What, how can you say so, what did I do?'
Arnav recalled. It was Payal and Akash's engagement. Anjali had to go early for the last minute arrangements. Arnav was busy with the guests coming from abroad, so he had stayed back home. It was then Anjali called him, telling him to pick Khusi from her house as she was alone, Buaji with her parents left early too. Arnav had tried to argue to protect his ego, but finally he agreed. Khusi was his sister's best companion these days. They would sit along and chat for hours, whenever she came , so definitely he didn't want to hurt his sister anyway.
He reached her house. Time seemed to stop by when he saw her. She looked like and elegant fairy coming from the heavens. He kept admiring HIS angel , standing below the fairy lights which decorated their balcony. He was lost in her beauty. Her view soothed his eyes.. Then suddenly a loud horn forced him to snap out from his reverie. He came back to reality.
'It's always your fault', he tried to cover his mistake.
'That's not fair', she argued.
'Keep quite and let me drive.'
It was a two hour journey from there. Cold breeze was blowing. They drove past and soon they were on highway. Khusi rested her head against the seat and soon she dozed off. In course of time her head rested on his shoulder, and she made herself comfortable against his warm over coat and slept peacefully.
Arnav kept driving on, this was not new to him. Many a times he was told to drop her to her home and this was the same story. Though it is different that she would fight and argue with him whenever he told her about this.
Suddenly there was a loud crash! Tire puncture!
There was a sudden jerk and Khusi woke up.
'And now what is this', she said in a drawling manner.
'It's called tire puncture.'
'Wonderful, this was the only thing missing in the scene,' she said in a sarcastic manner
'I will go and check.'
He went out and checked, the road was rough and on top of that, he was a driving a way too fast.

'Shit!' He stumped his foot. They are going to be pretty late.
She came out of the car and looked at the tires.
'I told you, but you are Mr. Know-it-all.'
'Can't you think of some solution, Miss. Know-it-all?'
'What's the distance from her?'
'You can't be serious!'
'Yes I am, nobody is going to stop by and give us lift, so get going!'

'My my! I thought you can walk, but I have been proved wrong.'
'Hmm?' He looked confused.
'You are making faces at the sound of walking as if you don't know how to walk.'
'You really wanna see who walks faster,' he said challengingly.
'Yeh! Lets see.'
And there started there marathon. They were not going to leave each other, and were trying there best to keep the pace.
But everyone has their own problem. Khusi was having a problem with her saree, and Arnav was having a problem by seeing her in problem. So finally he spoke, 'wait, I think we should take a lift.'
'You can't walk more, 'she said, panting.
'Look at yourself, you are pretty tired, no arguments.'
'I don't think we will get a car, today is Sunday, and the crowd will be over the mall, not over the highway.'
'Can you walk?' He asked concerned.
'Any doubt,' she tried to be confident.
'Yeh! Many, more than many,' he said.
'I think we should sit for few minutes; after all we are already ready late.'
'And you want us to be later, what kind of brother are you?'
He was pissed off.
'Well then, start walking.'
And it started all over again. But, this time she tripped and fell.
'Khusi are you alright?' he said leaning towards her.
She had twisted her foot.
'I am not used to with the sarees,' she said angrily
'Why are you getting angry?'
'I am not getting angry!'
'So what are you doing exactly?'
'I am getting LATE.'
'How will you walk? Unless you wanna walk on one foot, that's your choice.'
'I can walk', and she tried to get up, but immediately started yelping.
'Ouch!' She was about to fall, but he caught her in his arms.
'Serves you right? Silly woman,' he scolded her.
'Wait,' it was Anjali.
On the phone.
'Chote, where are you, the ceremony is about to start'
'Di, actually Khusi has twisted her leg.'
'Were you both fighting in the car?' She asked.
'No no, actually our tire punctured, and while walking she tripped because of the saree, and twisted her leg.'
Anjali chuckled on the other side.
'What?'
'Nah, I was getting a bit filmy.'
'Huh?'
'What will you do?'
'Idea! I can call the mechanic to come over here and change the tires.'
'You do that pretty fast; I will try so that you both don't miss the engagement.'
Without wasting any time, he called the mechanic.
'He will be here in half an hour.'
'Hmm''.'
'Is it hurting?'
Hmm''
'Are you alright?'
'Hmm''..'
'Can I say something?'
'Hmm''''
'Do you know you are a mad?'
'Hmm''what?'
'Nope, at least you know the truth about yourself, he chuckled.'
'You are so mean, here my leg is hurting and you are calling me mad!'
He bent down; she was sitting on a milestone, and lifted her leg on his lap.
'Let me see.'

Arhi FF: Ecstasy

Chapter One: Our so called ‘last’ meeting.

Khusi was dancing around since early morning. It was evident that she was happy from the core of her heart. The reason behind this beaming happiness was one such thing she wanted from the last 15 days. Today was the last day of the contract she had signed 15 days ago. Yes, it was her last day at the Raizada’s . She hurriedly got ready and went to office. Obviously, she can’t wait to attain her freedom!
She reached his cabin, and softly tapped the door. ‘May I come in Sir?’
‘Yes’. He replied
She composed herself and walked in.
‘Congratulations Miss Khusi Kumari Gupta!’
‘Thank you Sir’
‘Please take your seat. I have a few things to hand over’
Khusi felt she was in heaven. She was so happy and thought that her Devi Mayya had given her the thing she wanted.
‘Yes Sir’.
‘So Miss Gupta, where’s your resignation letter?’
It was as if she waiting to hear that, her hands sprang across the table and there it was , her freedom packed in that small envelope.
‘Here it is, Sir’
‘Oh, you seem to be prepared!’
She was smiling broadly.
It was the first time Arnav complimented her and she smiled to him.
‘So, now you are independent and free from the contract. You need not to pay me anything as you have completed the contract as per required . I hope you had good time with us.’, he smirked.
‘Sir, what to say now, I had such a good time. I just loved to work here, to look after the cars under the rain, to take the measurements of the male models, to type your papers all the night, to work on the report of the dilapidated building. In fact Sir I believe that only few people extremely lucky get to have such an experience. I am , you see, one of them.’
‘Yes you are.’ He smiled at her.
She was shocked, as if she had seen a star in the day sky. Arnav Singh Raizada – smiling!!
Arnav understood that the girl in front of him was shocked beyond imagination.
‘Actually, with your resignation letter, I, too, is celebrating my Independence Day.
As from this day I am free from you as well!!’
He smiled even wider.
‘So this Laad Governor is happy as well!’ she thought to herself.
‘May I go now, Sir’.
‘Oh sure, I can’t stop you now.’
The last line meant something else. Though Khusi was not able to understand what it was.
Both sat silently for few minutes, then she slowly got up and turned to leave. The last line hit her somewhere.
‘Thank you, Sir’
He would usually say ‘My Pleasure’ but it did not seem to be the right word.
He just smiled at her.
‘Mention not.’
And there she was , standing outside the office. She looked up to see the building for the last time.
No, she was never going to come here, even for once. But deep down her heart, it hit her again. She was never going to see him again.

Chapter two: Wish Dreams came true

Arnav Singh Raizada, what do you think of yourself, that you will keep on troubling me and I will leave you just like that. Listen, everygirl has her day. And today is mine. So you better start working or you have to pay me twice the money you asked me, you get that. Now go, what are you staring at? Get to work
Yes Mam , and hurriedly rushed to work. He seemed to be scared to death of “Khusi Mam”.
Khusi watched it with utter happiness. She had a list of the work she had planned to give to give that Akdoo .
She was really enjoining herself seeing the poor creature mailing the important papers at a lightening speed as if his train was going to leave the platform in 2 seconds.
ARNAV SIGH RAIZADA…..haun ki nahi or you are late as usual .
Yes Mam….nearly done!!!
Fast…don’t you know that I don’t like to wait.
While coming to her cabin Arnav nearly tripped. Khusi chuckled to herself
Ek kaam bhi dhang se nahi kar sakte kya
Ji Mam…here are the papers. God , he was shivering
Yeh kya hai….what is this?
Kya mam…kuch bhi toh nahi hai, he looked utterly confused
Kya tum mujhe bataoge…..KHUSI KUMARI GUPTA ko? Ki kya sahi hai aur galat?
(Trans: What? You will tell me what is right or wrong)

Kya Khusi…itne zor zor se aapna naam kyun bol rahi ho, saare moholle ko pata hai tumhare yeh naam
Trans: What , why are you shouting out your name so loudly? Everybody knows your name her

Khusi snapped out of her dream
Jiji, aap, What are you doing here?
Kya, this is my room and my house, why were you expecting someone else? Payal winked at her

No no…mein toh bas waise hi…

Accha, chalo get ready
Kyun, are we going somewhere?
Yeh….we are, now stop asking questions and get ready. Payal smiled and left theom.

Arhi OS: Locked for one day

'Oh! Just shut up, will you? Atleast I am trying!'
'That doesn't make sense to make; it's all your fault. This is the second time you did this , I am counting the numbers, beware.'
'WHAT!! This is not done by me! I don't know how it all happened. Maybe one of the servants did this by mistake. I don't know what happened to them, after you came. Wait, why am I giving you explanations by the way?'
'What the hell am I supposed to know why you are giving me explanations? God knows, maybe you told the servants to do like this.' She added with worried expressions.
'WHAT? You are just impossible Khusi. This is the maximum I can tolerate. Now you think I told the servants to lock us in a storeroom. Gosh! I think God has forgotten to put brains in you. For my sake, please take some from others. You badly need it.'
'What do you think of yourself? And who are you to tell whether I have brains or not. And by the way, if you have brains, why aren't you calling someone to open door.' 'He thinks he is the best or what!' She muttered under her breath.
'I am trying but you know that everybody has gone to attend some stupid party, and the house phone  isn't working, damn!'
'Just like your brain,' she laughed
He shot her a deadly look and she kept quiet.
'For how many hours do we stay like this'. He was now sitting on a box with Khusi sitting on the ground near his leg.
'How am I supposed to know?'
'Oops, sorry I forgot that you don't have brains.'
'I will bang your head now if you say that twice.'
'Khusi doesn't have brains.'he called out loud.' What will you do'let me see!'
'You'!' And she got up to beat him but tripped and fell on Arnav and unable to take the load of their weight, the box crumpled and both fell into it.
'You are so heavy'.'
'This is too much now ' and she started to beat him then and there.
'Hey stop stop stop, are you crazy or what, first try to get out of this, you mad women'.
'She would try to get up but ending up falling on him,'
And Arnav was busy staring at her'''''..

'Why are you staring at me, haven't you seen me before?'
'Excuse me! I am not staring, I am just wondering how fat can you be even if you look so thin, 'he laughed hard.
'I will kill you , you demon, can't you help me out.'
'yeh, I would have, but madam you are on the top, I am helpless.' He said with a grin.
'Ugh...you are just impossible..'

After a long time of struggle they finally could make their way out of the box.
'Phew...'she said wiping her sweat.
'Just look at her, I had to carry her weight and she is acting as if she did a lot of work.'
'Oh hello! Locked in a room with you is enough.'

'You need brains...seriously', he said tapping her forehead.

She was exhausted enough, so she just simply sat on the ground and and rested her head against the wall.
In their fight, Khusi's hair had slightly loosened and finally her hair was all loose, and ASR was in  his dreamland staring at her.
But realizing his situation, he quickly corrected himself and said
'Khusi what material are you made of, here we are locked and you are resting.'
No answer from her.
he now slowly bent to the ground and realized she had fallen asleep.
he slowly touched her hair. She indeed looked like a little princess.' How can anyone get angry on her?'

In addition the lights suddenly went off. Khusi screamed out'...HELP!'
'Woh! easy easy, '
'Oh! the demon is still there.'
'Excuse me'
'Excused.'
'ugh!!!' and and he went near the window and tried to call on the cell.
'Can you order something to eat, I am really very hungry.'
'Yeh sure, what should I order?' and he was going to dial a number, but suddenly stopped.
'Umm, if I could call to order your food, why should not call someone to unlock the door, 'he looked confused.
Khusi turned around quickly, embarrassed.
'Silly girl. '
'But I am really very hungry'
'I thought you satisfied your hunger by eating my brains all this time.'
'It was tasteless.'
He gave her disgusting look and tried the cell, but no use.

'Di, when will you be home?' He was sitting on the floor instead to avoid the accident last time.
he was thinking of something when he suddenly felt something on his shoulders.
Khusi was resting her head on his shoulder and was sleeping peacefully.
Arnav couldn't help but smile. He would have shaken her off, but somehow his hands didn't allow him.
In a while, the lights came.
Khusi looked up.
'Did you have a good sleep?'
'yeh'
he was shocked beyond imagination when he saw that she did not react to her resting her head on his shoulder.
She was now feeling fresh, but was very tried. Teaching Lavanya then being locked up in a storeroom with a demon was not easy at all!
'What's the time?'
'It's 10.30'
'I should be awarded for spending  so many hours with you till now. When is Anjali ji coming?'
'I don't know.'
 'As always.'
he didn't react. After all he was tired too.
He was slowly dozing off.
'Laad Governor...wake up!' she shouted at the top of her voice.
'Yeh, what happened..' he suddenly woke up with a jerk and he looked every where puzzled what was the reason of this scream.
'Mike testing 1,2,3' and she pretended to hold a mike in front of her , pacing the room up and down, looking as she didn't know the reason behind the scream
'Did anyone scream' He asked innocently
'Really, I didn't hear anything'
He looked at her suspiciously .
'What? I didn't do anything...'she tried to reason.

He was still looking suspiciously at her.
'Listen, I don’t have time to shout at you and destroy your beauty sleep, I have other works to do.'
'What work', he said mockingly.
'Like to think how to get out from here, since you have put your brain in sleeping mode.'
'Woh man! I didn’t know people can think without their brains.'
She was now intending to throw things at him.
She controlled her self, and went by the window and and looked outside.
Suddenly he heard him shout.
'What Di, you are not coming tonight but why, how, when, what happened?'
After some time, he kept the phone and banged his head to the nearby wall,' Shit!'
Khusi after realizing the situation sat down and started to say out loud,
'That’s all because of you, because you did the fashion show, I had to come there, you insulted me, I had to leave Lucknow, because of you I had to join the office,  leave the office, join  as a trainer and then this'.
Ignoring the last word, Arnav said, 'You didn’t want to leave the office?'
Khusi suddenly looked up, 'Damn it! What did I tell?' she thought.
'No , actually I didn't mean that……..'
'Well, then what did you mean?' Arnav was in a no mood to leave.
'Well, if I didn’t have to quit the office, then I didn’t  have to be locked up with you', she didn’t sound convincing even to herself.
Arnav looked outside, it was 12 o’clock at night. The moon was at it’s full bloom.
Khusi stood quietly at the other end of the room.
Arnav looked at her. Her eyes glistened in the moon light. She was looking at the moon.
Arnav was lost in her. She waved at her hand in front of him. 'Seriously, what’s wrong with you today?'
He smiled at her.
HEART ATACK!
He was looking lovingly at her. Khusi was standing close to him, her hair flying cause of  the gentle breeze .
'I am sorry for what I did .'
HEART ATTACK!
'Err…..what?'
He was smiling again.
'Pardoned……'she giggled a bit.
'Thank you…….'he whispered in her ears, And crossed her to stand by the wall.
'Did I just laugh, he said sorry, and I said pardoned?'
She had a
HEART ATTACK yet  again.
She rubbed her eyes, went up to him and asked
'Did you say sorry?'
'Really, I didn’t say.'
She looked at him suspiciously
'What, I didn’t say,' and he tried to reason.

'You are actually greedy.' She said after a lot of thinking.
'And a miser,' she added.
'Just look around, who will say that this is the Storeroom of Angry Young Raizada?'
'Oye hello, doesn't mean that it's my storeroom that I will decorate it , storeroom is storeroom, and you're brainless, ha, me and miser, seriously knock some brains in you.'
'It's called effect of companionship. I am helpless.'
He smirked. She had an effect on him indeed.
'Who's angry young raizada?'
She looked confused. She blabbered that out. He kept on staring at her. She open hair enhanced her beauty. Her light baby pink suit complimented her skin tone. She was looking like an angel.
It was half past two. 'Payal would so worried. What should I tell her.' Suddenly there was a noise outside.
'Wha…….what was that?' She sounded a bit frightened.
Arnav went by the window and tried to look outside. Heck, the trees were guarding the view.
They heard footsteps . Khusi moved by his side. She felt a bit secured. Suddenly there was a loud bang.
'Ah……'she was going to shout. He closed her mouth quickly, 'Shhh…….let me see.'
He peeped through the crack of the door. 'I can't see anything.'
She moved a bit closer. She was praying silently, eyes closed.
He looked at her. 'Don't worry,' he assured.
There was a loud crash, it seemed like a metallic object fell on the ground.
Khusi tightly clutched Arnav, 'is that Anjali?'
'Does she play football in the house?'
She gave an annoyed look, 'I am asking!'
'Absolutely not!'
'We have to wait for someone , I guess it's not an intruder.'
'Your guards are like you, hopeless.'
This time he didn't pay any heed. He tried to peep through the crack..
Khusi at the same time tried to look, and they banged their head.

They were going to shout, but they covered each others mouth and heaved a sign of relief.
'Stand at the corner and let me look, get that!'
'It's so scary.' She made an innocent face
'I thought I was the scariest demon you have come across, then?'
She had no answer, she slowly walked up to the corner, leaned against the wall.
He laughed quietly to himself, then tried to look outside.
After a lot of such bangs and crashes, he finally returned to her side, 'the crack is very small.'
'Like your head,' she muttered to herself.
'I heard that.'
'Oh really?'
'Is it a thief?'
'Maybe, I don't know.'
They heard a knock on the door.
She swiftly moved to his side, and hid her face , tightly clutching him.
He moved to the door, and slightly knocked it.
There were two knocks in return.
'We are in trouble.'

They slowly moved to the farthest corner of the room, behind some boxes and slowly sat down. 'What should we do know?'
'Wait.'
'What if he comes inside?'
'We will be able to get out from here, silly!'
'What if he holds a gun and asks for money, and threatens to kill us if he doesn't get that?'
It was the limit. Arnav started to bang his head to the near by wall.
She quickly slid her hand in between the wall and his head and he banged on her hand instead.
They stared at each other for some time. 'What kind of a joke is this, I am getting frightened and you are banging your head.'
'You are totally filmy psycho! We are in a house, that too guarded. My one call will sent him to jail. You are making a cinema from this. Complete madness.'
They kept quite for couple of minutes. Her touch on his head kept on whirling in his mind. He stared at her. She was completely drained off. She was sitting close to him.
The knock grew louder. 'Is he going to………'
She stopped mid way, he feared Arnav's angry look to the core.
He stood up, and went by the door and carefully listened.
The door felt loose. Seemed like some of the bolts have been tampered.
'Khusi,' he called out softly.
She looked up and walked to the door.
He moved a little backwards, and then gave the door a hard kick.
The door flung open.
She stared at him in disbelief. He gave her a smirk, and went out. She followed him.
It was 3.30 in the morning. They looked around the house. Darkness prevailed everywhere. Khusi murmured, 'Is this the same house where I came today?'
'Where's the thief?' He asked.
'Effect of companionship, I don't know.'
They heard some footsteps in the kitchen . Arnav moved towards the kitchen, while Khusi closely followed.
And there he was, bent down and picking something from the fridge. Arnav stared , a slight frown appeared and the man turned.

With lots  of food stuffed in his mouth and a juice can held in his hand, a man wearing a black mask , with eyes and nose peeping out, and the mask was folded up to his mouth. He gave a nervous smile at them.
'Who are you?' Arnav gave a disgusting look.
Err…….my brother is …….well I came here to……….. and before he told his history, like an express train he sprinted out of the kitchen and ran away. Arnav quickly followed, dialed a number and told the guards to catch him.
Finally relieved that they were out of the room, Arnav suddenly felt something.' Where was Khusi?'
He walked back to the kitchen and there she was, with a huge bowl of cereals and stuffing them as fast as she could.
'Can't you keep something better than this', she pointed towards the cereal box.
'What   are you doing?'
'Wanna have breakfast?'
Yeh , I am pretty hungry! An they settled on the huge table, gobbling the cereals.

Three weeks later.
'I am just tired of this Lavanya. She is just uff……..'
Khusi opened the door of the storeroom. Lavanya was to learn how to prepare a pooja thali.. nani told her to bring the ingredients from the storeroom. She was busy looking for the things, when suddenly her eyes fell on a crumpled box.
She smiled to herself.
