Arhi OS:Sometimes

'Did you want to become a racer when you were small?' She panicked.
'Why?' He said annoyingly.
'No, I mean the way you are driving makes me think so', she uttered.
'Keep your mouth shut, for you I got so late.'
'What, how can you say so, what did I do?'
Arnav recalled. It was Payal and Akash's engagement. Anjali had to go early for the last minute arrangements. Arnav was busy with the guests coming from abroad, so he had stayed back home. It was then Anjali called him, telling him to pick Khusi from her house as she was alone, Buaji with her parents left early too. Arnav had tried to argue to protect his ego, but finally he agreed. Khusi was his sister's best companion these days. They would sit along and chat for hours, whenever she came , so definitely he didn't want to hurt his sister anyway.
He reached her house. Time seemed to stop by when he saw her. She looked like and elegant fairy coming from the heavens. He kept admiring HIS angel , standing below the fairy lights which decorated their balcony. He was lost in her beauty. Her view soothed his eyes.. Then suddenly a loud horn forced him to snap out from his reverie. He came back to reality.
'It's always your fault', he tried to cover his mistake.
'That's not fair', she argued.
'Keep quite and let me drive.'
It was a two hour journey from there. Cold breeze was blowing. They drove past and soon they were on highway. Khusi rested her head against the seat and soon she dozed off. In course of time her head rested on his shoulder, and she made herself comfortable against his warm over coat and slept peacefully.
Arnav kept driving on, this was not new to him. Many a times he was told to drop her to her home and this was the same story. Though it is different that she would fight and argue with him whenever he told her about this.
Suddenly there was a loud crash! Tire puncture!
There was a sudden jerk and Khusi woke up.
'And now what is this', she said in a drawling manner.
'It's called tire puncture.'
'Wonderful, this was the only thing missing in the scene,' she said in a sarcastic manner
'I will go and check.'
He went out and checked, the road was rough and on top of that, he was a driving a way too fast.

'Shit!' He stumped his foot. They are going to be pretty late.
She came out of the car and looked at the tires.
'I told you, but you are Mr. Know-it-all.'
'Can't you think of some solution, Miss. Know-it-all?'
'What's the distance from her?'
'You can't be serious!'
'Yes I am, nobody is going to stop by and give us lift, so get going!'

'My my! I thought you can walk, but I have been proved wrong.'
'Hmm?' He looked confused.
'You are making faces at the sound of walking as if you don't know how to walk.'
'You really wanna see who walks faster,' he said challengingly.
'Yeh! Lets see.'
And there started there marathon. They were not going to leave each other, and were trying there best to keep the pace.
But everyone has their own problem. Khusi was having a problem with her saree, and Arnav was having a problem by seeing her in problem. So finally he spoke, 'wait, I think we should take a lift.'
'You can't walk more, 'she said, panting.
'Look at yourself, you are pretty tired, no arguments.'
'I don't think we will get a car, today is Sunday, and the crowd will be over the mall, not over the highway.'
'Can you walk?' He asked concerned.
'Any doubt,' she tried to be confident.
'Yeh! Many, more than many,' he said.
'I think we should sit for few minutes; after all we are already ready late.'
'And you want us to be later, what kind of brother are you?'
He was pissed off.
'Well then, start walking.'
And it started all over again. But, this time she tripped and fell.
'Khusi are you alright?' he said leaning towards her.
She had twisted her foot.
'I am not used to with the sarees,' she said angrily
'Why are you getting angry?'
'I am not getting angry!'
'So what are you doing exactly?'
'I am getting LATE.'
'How will you walk? Unless you wanna walk on one foot, that's your choice.'
'I can walk', and she tried to get up, but immediately started yelping.
'Ouch!' She was about to fall, but he caught her in his arms.
'Serves you right? Silly woman,' he scolded her.
'Wait,' it was Anjali.
On the phone.
'Chote, where are you, the ceremony is about to start'
'Di, actually Khusi has twisted her leg.'
'Were you both fighting in the car?' She asked.
'No no, actually our tire punctured, and while walking she tripped because of the saree, and twisted her leg.'
Anjali chuckled on the other side.
'What?'
'Nah, I was getting a bit filmy.'
'Huh?'
'What will you do?'
'Idea! I can call the mechanic to come over here and change the tires.'
'You do that pretty fast; I will try so that you both don't miss the engagement.'
Without wasting any time, he called the mechanic.
'He will be here in half an hour.'
'Hmm''.'
'Is it hurting?'
Hmm''
'Are you alright?'
'Hmm''..'
'Can I say something?'
'Hmm''''
'Do you know you are a mad?'
'Hmm''what?'
'Nope, at least you know the truth about yourself, he chuckled.'
'You are so mean, here my leg is hurting and you are calling me mad!'
He bent down; she was sitting on a milestone, and lifted her leg on his lap.
'Let me see.'
